The Pollen Project is a social enterprise that creates habitat for bees and other pollinators. We grow cut flowers and herbs to sell, and put on workshops and events to get people growing flowers for wildlife.
In 2024, we began growing on a field in the Tamar Valley, Devon. Starting small, we're building soil health and getting to understand our land.
The Pollen Project helps increase biodiversity by growing plants favoured by a variety of pollinators: such as single flower varieties, native and wild species, and flowers for their seed heads. We grow a percentage extra of crops to leave for pollinators and a percentage of profits will go towards creating or supporting other pollinator projects.
We will be growing a small amount of bouquets to sell locally, each week, from late spring to autumn. As we expand we plan to sell to florists and provide flowers for larger events.
If you live locally and would like to buy a bouquet, or are interesting in collaborating, please do get in touch.
